Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Airport

Great, clean, safe hotel to stay at, especially if you are traveling through Sky Harbor. It is very convenient if you have a rental car, as there is free parking at the hotel and it is a easy, 4 mile trip to the airport. The hotel also has a shuttle. Room was clean and comfortable, a little pricey but it was short notice and a Friday night. I did order food from the restaurant, and it was excellent, with large portions. There is a dining room with a full service bar, great selection of domestic and imported beer, wine, and liquor. The staff was friendly. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Don’t stay here. If I hadn’t gotten in late I would have gone to another hotel. The worst part was walking in to a breakfast buffet that looks like every other complimentary breakfast buffet, dry eggs, mystery meat sausage, stale bread but at this hotel you pay $13.95 per person for the privilege. The fact that it was inedible is beside the point. There were NO signs indicating this was a paid breakfast until I complained and then they put some out. Another guest checking out was also taken off guard by charge.

This is a great place to stay if flying out of Phoenix airport cos’ you can park your car for cheap rates. They shuttle you to the airport & back to the hotel to pick up your car. This time we were told they were going to repave the parking lot. Since we had prior reservations they asked us to leave our cars keys & they will move our car. We got a written receipt from manager when we left our keys. I will post how we found our car upon our return!

The hotel is dated. Can use a refresh. The front staff was not attentive at check in. I had to wait for the desk clerks to finish their personal conversation before they acknowledge me and check me in. Some of the equipment in the Fitness Center was not safe to use or working properly. You had to go outside around the pool to get to the Fitness Center (not ideal). The breakfast bar was very limited for the price. The selections are very few and the quality of the food was not very good. Wait staff was not attentive for coffee refills, etc. She was only interested in giving you the bill so you can pay and tip, but then she just walk and not pay any attention to you.

I will start off saying the hotel itself was nice. Very clean and rooms were nice. However, im extremely disappointed with the customer service. I was checked in by a gentleman who was pleasant but his coworker, I do not know her name, was very rude. She was rude to the customer she was checking in and when I called for a small issue about our remote not working, I was cut off immediately and told "I'll send maintenence" and was hung up on before I could even finish my sentence. The maintenance guy wasn't much better. I unfortunately realized when I got home that I left a shirt behind. Absolutely my mistake. I have called 3 different times and left 3 messages and have heard NOTHING back from anybody in the housekeeping department. I understand staff is busy but when the answering machine says "we'll call you back by the end of the day" I expect a call back. I shouldn't have to call multiple times trying to get ahold of somebody. I'm very disappointed with my experience overall with this hotel. I'm usually impressed with my stay at any Hilton but this experience has not been good.
